    The WMEV240C is a 2-way A-Type RCBO EV Kit fitted with a 40 A C-curve high-immunity Type A RCBO. It provides combined overload, short-circuit and earth-leakage protection (30 mA AC + 6 mA DC) and meets the latest 18th Edition Amendment 2 requirements for EV installations.

    Designed for high-load single-phase chargers or dual EV points (up to ≈ 9 kW), the C-curve profile (5–10 × In) withstands inrush currents from transformer or switch-mode power supplies without nuisance tripping. Each unit is factory-wired and ready to install with dual-pole isolation and clear fault indication.

    Installer Tip: Use the 40 A C-curve for high-power chargers or paired EV sockets drawing up to ≈ 9 kW. If the charger specifies Type B RCD requirements, install with a PME fault unit and surge protection for full compliance.

    Is this kit 18th Edition compliant?

    Yes – it includes a Type A RCBO with 30 mA AC + 6 mA DC detection as required by Amendment 2.

    Does it isolate both live and neutral?

    Yes – the 1P + N RCBO provides full dual-pole isolation for safe maintenance and fault clearance.
