Power & Data Returns & Refunds

We hope that you are happy with your products but there may be times when you need to return your purchases and we want to make that as easy as possible. Please do not return anything before contacting our Customer Service team at sales@pandduk.com.

If we are not contacted, we will not be held responsible for any return postage charges you may have incurred that may not have been necessary. Ensure the return is packaged for transit. Failure to comply with the above will result in a delay in processing the return.

If you need to return a product that was sold and shipped by Power and Data you’ll need your order confirmation or sales advice and your original payment method, and we can exchange the product or issue a refund. Conditions for Returns

Products may be returned under the following conditions.

  • Product failure / manufacturing defect
    • All products come with a manufacturer’s warranty of 2 years.
  • Change of mind or surplus to order (within 7 days of receipt of goods)
  • Incorrect product shipped.

Note that all returns must include your order confirmation or sales advice and your original payment method, if Power and Data receive goods without this information this will delay or may invalidate the return itself.

If your return is accepted, we’ll send you instructions on how and where to send your package. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted. Items sent back to us without your returns reference or identifying information cannot be refunded.

Unwanted Items

If you change your mind regarding your order, email our Customer Service Team within 7 days of receipt and arrange return of the items for a refund. All goods must be returned unused and in the original packaging. The cost of returning the goods will be borne by you. Whilst the goods are in transit responsibility will be with you until they reach our office. Loss or damage of the goods whilst in transit shall be borne by you. Once we have received the goods in an unused condition following the above guidelines we will issue a full refund for the value of the goods. When sending goods back to us please ensure they are packaged safely and securely and that you keep a proof of purchase and where possible a tracking number.

Faulty products

All damages on receipt of the parcel must be reported to the Customer Service Team by phone or email within 48hours and you will have 30 days to exercise your rights. Please contact us if you have received a damaged or faulty goods. We will offer a replacement or a refund as long as this is reported within the 48 hours. We may need to wait for the damaged/faulty goods to be returned to us before we can offer a refund or replacement.

If a product you purchase is faulty, you may be offered a repair, exchange or refund as appropriate in accordance with your consumer rights. For products bought from Power and Data you can contact us on sales@pandduk.com. You will need your proof of purchase when returning a faulty product and the original payment method for the processing of any associated refund.

Refunds

We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method within 14 days. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too.

If more than 14 days have passed since we’ve approved your return, please contact us at sales@pandduk.com.

 

Power & Data excludes returns, where:

 

  • Purchased items that have been personalised e.g. logo applied or made to a customer’s specification.
  • Items have not been purchased directly from Power & Data.
  • The return is not complete, has been used/installed, scratched, damaged or subjected to normal wear and tear, abnormal storage or operating conditions.
  • Product information or instructions have not been followed, which has attributed or caused a fault or damage to the product(s).
  • Repairs or alterations have been made by a non-competent person or where the products design has been altered.
  • No return reference has been used on the return packaging or where there is no audit trail to associate the return to a customer (signed for or not).
  • The fault arises from a drawing, design or specification supplied by the Customer.
  • We recommend all products are installed by NICEIC+ registered electrical contractors. Failure to do so will result in any guarantee becoming void, subject to manufacturer’s warranty conditions.
