The WPRC40BSP is a weatherproof IP65 EV RCBO kit fitted with a 40A B Curve Type A RCBO and a factory-fitted Type 2 Surge Protection Device (SPD). It provides combined overload, short circuit, earth leakage, and surge defence — all inside a robust plastic enclosure designed for external mounting.
With a higher 40A rating, the WPRC40BSP is built for light commercial EV chargers, heavier domestic installs, and renewable circuits where additional current capacity is required. Its dual-handle fault indication makes fault diagnosis simple, while compliance with 18th Edition Amendment 2 ensures safety and reliability on every install.
Installer Tip: Use the 40A B Curve version for higher-load domestic EV chargers or small commercial installs. For circuits with high inrush currents (e.g. motors, PV inverters), step up to the 40A C Curve variant.
