The WEC2 is a compact 2-way plastic meter isolator enclosure designed for safe, tidy isolation and protection of incoming electrical supplies. Commonly specified by DNOs and contractors, it provides a neat housing for main switches, RCDs, or RCBOs where space is limited.
Built for indoor use (IP20 rated), it’s ideal for small meter cupboards, service heads, or switchroom applications where tamper protection and easy inspection are essential. Each enclosure includes a 3-part tamper-resistant seal and screw-fixed lid to maintain safety during and after installation.
Installer Tip: Use the 2-way model when fitting a single main isolator or RCD in tight meter positions. Always verify clearance between the isolator handle and lid before final fixing.

What’s the difference between the WEC2 and WEC4?
The WEC2 provides two usable DIN ways, ideal for a single main isolator or RCD. The WEC4 doubles this space for combined RCBO or RCD setups.
Are these enclosures lockable?
They feature a 3-part tamper seal system for security, but are not padlock lockable. For lockable options, see our rotary isolator range.

Where should I use the WEC2?
