Despite its size, the WME04 maintains full compliance with BS 7671:2018 Amendment 2, offering safe cable routing, accessible terminations, and reliable mechanical strength. It’s the perfect choice for compact distribution setups, extensions, or localised control circuits where only a few outgoing ways are required.
Installer Tip: Always leave adequate bend radius behind the DIN rail when wiring small enclosures. This helps avoid stress on terminations and ensures long-term reliability under BS 7671 Regulation 526.6.

Is the WME04 supplied pre-wired?
No. It’s supplied empty to allow flexible configuration for your chosen devices.
Can I fit an RCBO or MCB inside?
Yes. It accepts standard 18mm DIN-rail devices including MCBs and RCBOs.
Does it include busbars?
No. Busbars should be purchased separately to suit your circuit configuration.
Is this enclosure suitable for outdoor use?
No. The WME04 is IP40 rated and must be installed indoors only.
Does it meet 18th Edition standards?
Yes. It fully complies with BS EN 62208 and BS 7671:2018 Amendment 2 when installed by a qualified electrician.
