This unit is fast to fit, tamper-resistant, and designed to save space on wall-mount jobs. Suitable for resistive and moderately inductive loads such as lighting, heating, and general distribution boards, it provides a safe, regulation-compliant disconnect point. Often used alongside surge protection devices or rotary isolators where additional switching or protection is required.

What’s the difference between a meter isolator and a main switch?
A meter isolator is installed between the meter and consumer unit for safe disconnection. A main switch or rotary isolator is used within the consumer unit or machinery circuit as the primary means of isolation.
