The WME08/SP-SI is a customer-specified 8-module heat pump consumer unit built around the WME08/SP metal enclosure. It combines a 100A main switch and Type 2 surge protection with two 20A B-curve Type B HP RCBOs, a 20A B-curve MCB, a 16A B-curve MCB and a 32A Type A mini RCBO.
The two WHR120B-030 heat pump RCBOs provide individual 30mA Type B HP residual-current and overcurrent protection for their respective circuits. The 20A and 16A MCBs provide overcurrent protection only; the 32A Type A RCBO provides its own 30mA residual-current and overcurrent protection. This mix gives the installer distinct protection options within one compact board, subject to the connected equipment and overall circuit design.
Installer Note: The two fitted heat pump devices are Type B HP RCBOs, not a single shared Type B RCD. The MCB-protected circuits do not gain residual-current protection from those RCBOs. Check each circuit against the equipment manufacturer's requirements and the full installation design.

Protection layout and capacity
The WME08/SP enclosure has five usable outgoing ways. This build specifies five single-module outgoing devices, so there is no spare outgoing way in the quoted arrangement. The metal enclosure is IP40 rated for indoor installation and measures 232 × 240 × 112 mm.
The Type B HP designation refers to residual-current detection intended for heat pump applications where smooth DC and high-frequency leakage may be present. The B curve on the RCBOs and MCBs describes their separate overcurrent trip characteristic. Confirm the required ratings, RCD type and circuit coordination against the heat pump manufacturer’s instructions before ordering.
