The WPEVCU40BSP/8 is an 8 Way IP65 EV Connection Unit with Surge Protection designed for higher-load EV charger installations requiring dependable isolation and transient voltage protection. Built to order and supplied preassembled, it combines a 100A main switch isolator, 40A MCB, and Type 2 SPD within a compact, IP65-rated enclosure for quick, compliant installation.
Installer Tip: The 40A variant is ideal for EV chargers drawing up to 9.6kW or for circuits with higher diversity factors. Maintain short SPD earth connections (under 150mm) to comply with BS 7671 surge protection requirements and minimise let-through voltage.
