The WFMS100 is a metal switch-fuse unit with a 100A main switch for installations requiring a fused supply to downstream equipment. Its IP40 enclosure has a polyester powder coating and top and bottom cable-entry knockouts.

This is the base version with a 22 × 58mm fuse holder. For the version explicitly supplied with 63A, 80A and 100A fuse links, see WFMS100/3F.

    • 100A twin-pole main switch
    • 22 × 58mm cartridge fuse holder
    • Dimensions: 130 × 238 × 87mm (W × H × D)
    • IP40 metal enclosure
    • 25mm and 32mm knockouts on the top and bottom faces

The 100A figure is the main-switch rating. The permitted circuit load also depends on the selected fuse, fuse holder and installation design.

The three supplied fuse ratings are selection options, not a statement that three fuse positions are fitted. Match the chosen fuse to the holder, cable and circuit design.

What does the 100A rating refer to?

It is the main-switch rating. The fuse, fuse holder, cable and circuit design determine the permitted protected load.

    Which fuse links are included?

The base listing specifies the main switch and fuse holder. For a pack with 63A, 80A and 100A links, choose WFMS100/3F; otherwise confirm your fuse requirement when ordering.

    Which version includes surge protection?

The WFMS100/3FSP is listed with an SPD and the three fuse-link ratings. Select the required complete unit rather than assuming a retrofit kit is included.

    Is this the three-phase version?

For the version specifically listed with a four-pole main switch and three-pole fuse holder, see WFMS/3P. A pack of three fuse links does not establish three-phase suitability.

    Can it be installed outdoors?

The enclosure is rated IP40. Select an enclosure and complete assembly suitable for the installation environment; this is not a weatherproof outdoor enclosure.

Installation and commissioning should be carried out by a qualified electrician using the instructions for the supplied assembly and fitted devices. Select fuse links for the circuit load, cable protection, holder rating and prospective fault current. Check terminal torque and enclosure earthing against the supplied instructions.

Use the designated isolation device before accessing the fuse holder. The fuse holder itself must not be used as a switch disconnector.
