The WPEVCU40BSP is an IP65-rated EV connection unit pre-fitted with a 40A B Curve MCB, 100A isolator, and an integrated Type 2 Surge Protection Device (SPD). Rated to BS 7671:2018 (Amendment 2), this unit ensures compliance while reducing installation time. The 40A B curve MCB makes it ideal for domestic and light commercial chargers requiring higher output than the standard 32A option.
Installer Tip: Select the 40A B Curve variant when fitting higher-capacity single chargers (7.4–9.6 kW) that exceed 32A demand. Always check the charger spec before finalising circuit design.
