The WPEVCU32BSP is an EV connection unit with a 32A B Curve MCB, 100A main switch and surge protection device (SPD) in an IP65 plastic enclosure. It combines overcurrent protection, switching and surge protection for the charge-point supply.
This is the MCB connection-unit configuration. The MCB provides overload and short-circuit protection; the required residual-current, smooth-DC and any open-PEN protection must be addressed by the complete charger and circuit design.
