The WSPD340 is a 3 Pole Type 2 Surge Protection Device designed for three-phase electrical systems requiring protection against transient overvoltages caused by switching events and lightning-related surge activity. With a 20kA nominal discharge current and 40kA maximum discharge rating, it provides practical board-level surge protection for commercial and industrial applications.
This 3 phase SPD is suited to three-phase distribution systems, plant equipment, commercial boards and specialist electrical installations where surge protection is required across L1, L2 and L3. Its compact DIN rail format allows straightforward installation inside compatible boards and enclosures.
Installer note: The WSPD340 is designed for three-phase surge protection applications without neutral protection. For three-phase and neutral arrangements, see the WSPD440 3P+N SPD.
