The WME2280TR/SP Twin RCD Metal Consumer Unit is a 22-module split-load board supplied with a 100A main switch, two 80A RCDs, and a factory-fitted Type 2 Surge Protection Device (SPD). It provides 14 usable ways for circuit protection and is fully compliant with BS 7671 Amendment 2. Designed for larger domestic and light commercial installs, it’s ideal where surge protection is mandatory — including EV chargers, heat pumps, and solar PV systems.

The WME2280TR/SP is supplied pre-fitted with main switch, RCDs, and SPD. Final circuit protection (MCBs/RCBOs) must be installed by a qualified electrician in line with BS 7671 and site requirements.
