    The WMEV240B is a 2-way A-Type RCBO EV Kit fitted with a 40 A B-curve high-immunity Type A RCBO. It provides overload, short-circuit and earth-leakage protection (30 mA AC + 6 mA DC) to fully meet the 18th Edition Amendment 2 requirements for EV charging points.

    Designed for heavier single-phase or light commercial EV circuits drawing up to 9 kW, this kit offers full dual-pole isolation in a compact, installer-friendly steel enclosure. The high-immunity RCBO minimises nuisance tripping when charging vehicles with on-board filters or high startup currents.

    Installer Tip: Select a 40 A B-curve for high-power EV chargers or dual-socket setups on dedicated feeds. If the charger has transformer input or variable inrush, consider a C-curve version for enhanced surge tolerance.
