    The WMEV210B is a 2-way A-Type RCBO EV Kit fitted with a 10 A B-curve Type A RCBO, providing overload, short-circuit and earth-leakage protection for small single-phase EV circuits. With 30 mA AC + 6 mA DC detection, it meets 18th Edition Amendment 2 requirements for EV charging points.

    This compact kit offers dual-pole isolation with clear fault indication for AC and DC leakage. Factory-assembled and ready to wire, it’s ideal for low-power chargers (3.6 kW / 16 A feed limited circuits) and retrofit upgrades needing dedicated RCD and MCB protection in one device.

    Installer Tip: Select a 10 A B-curve variant for lower-rated EV chargers or circuits sharing a limited supply (e.g. load-managed setups). For higher draw or inrush currents, move up to 16 A or C-curve models.

    When should I choose a 10 A B Curve model?

    Use for smaller chargers or circuits with limited supply capacity. For 7 kW units or higher inrush loads, step up to 16 A or C-curve variants.

    Does it switch both live and neutral?

    Yes – the RCBO features a switched neutral for full isolation and safety during faults or maintenance.

    Can I add surge protection?

    Yes – fit a Single Module SPD upstream or within the board as required.

    Is it suitable for solar PV as well as EV?
