The WMEPME08/SP is a metal PME fault detection consumer unit combining a 40A Type A RCBO with an SPD. It brings PME monitoring, residual-current and overcurrent protection, and surge protection into one enclosure for selection as part of an EV charging installation.
The unit monitors 230V and 240V supplies. Under the specified abnormal-voltage conditions, it disconnects live, neutral and earth within five seconds. The charge point's DC leakage protection and installation requirements must also be checked.
