The WRT116B-030 is a 16A B Curve Type A RCBO combining residual current and overcurrent protection in one compact device. It features switched live and neutral disconnection for full isolation, a high immunity design to reduce nuisance tripping, and bi-directional wiring for use in solar PV, EV charging, and inverter-fed circuits.

Designed to detect both AC and pulsating DC leakage currents, it ensures compliance with the 18th Edition Wiring Regulations (Amendment 2). The slim 18mm module width allows direct installation into consumer units and distribution boards without wasted space.

Installer Tip: Select the B Curve for lighting and general-purpose socket circuits with low inrush currents. For EV chargers, motors, or heat pumps, use the C Curve version instead.

    Key Features

When should I specify a B Curve RCBO?

B Curves are suited for domestic lighting and socket circuits where inrush currents are low. For EV chargers or motors, use the C Curve model.

    Why choose an A-Type RCBO?

A-Type RCBOs detect both AC and pulsating DC leakage, making them essential for EV chargers, solar inverters, and modern electronics.

Does this device fully isolate the circuit?

Yes – switched live and neutral ensure safe disconnection of both conductors.

    Is it high immunity?

Yes – the design reduces nuisance trips from harmonics, making it reliable for inverter-heavy environments.
