The WER06C-030 is a 6A C Curve High Immunity Type A RCBO designed to provide combined overload, short-circuit and residual current protection in one compact device. It is a strong fit for circuits where a 6A protective rating is needed but where a C Curve characteristic is preferred due to start-up current or circuit conditions.
As part of the Whitecliffe WER High Immunity RCBO range, this model offers Type A protection for AC and pulsating DC residual currents, along with double pole isolation and bi-directional wiring. That makes it well suited to modern consumer units and distribution boards where nuisance tripping resistance and installation flexibility are important.
Installer Tip: A 6A C Curve RCBO can be useful where a low-rated circuit still has a higher inrush characteristic than a standard B Curve circuit. Always size the protective device to suit the actual design current and equipment characteristics.
