The WER20C-030 is a 20A C Curve High Immunity Type A RCBO designed for EV chargers, motors, heat pumps, and inverter-fed systems. It provides combined overload, short-circuit, and 30mA residual current protection, while high immunity electronics reduce nuisance tripping from harmonics and transient voltages.

Featuring double pole disconnection and bi-directional wiring, this RCBO is fully compliant with the 18th Edition Wiring Regulations (Amendment 2) and suitable for both domestic and commercial installs.

Installer Tip: Choose the C Curve when circuits have higher inrush loads such as EV charge points or motors. For lighting or socket circuits with low inrush, use the B Curve version instead.

    Key Features

    • 20A C Curve Type A RCBO – 30mA residual protection, 10kA breaking capacity
    • High immunity design – resists false trips in noisy electrical environments
    • Double pole disconnection – cuts both live and neutral conductors
    • Bi-directional wiring – line/load reversible
    • Engineered for EV, solar, and heat pump systems
    • Complies with BS EN 61009 & 18th Edition regs

Why choose a C Curve RCBO?

C Curves are designed for circuits with higher inrush currents such as EV charge points, motors, and heat pumps. They trip more appropriately under startup loads compared to B Curves.

    What does high immunity mean?

It reduces false trips caused by harmonics, switching surges, or transient voltages common in inverter-based systems.

Is this suitable for solar PV installs?

Yes – bi-directional wiring and high immunity protection make it compatible with inverter-fed solar circuits.

Does this disconnect live and neutral?

Yes – it provides full double pole disconnection for safe and compliant isolation.
