The WER06B-030 is a 6A B Curve High Immunity Type A RCBO designed for circuits requiring combined overload, short-circuit and residual current protection in a single device. It is especially suitable for lighting circuits and other low inrush final circuits where a 6A protective device is appropriate.
Part of the Whitecliffe WER High Immunity RCBO range, this model provides Type A residual current protection for AC and pulsating DC leakage, along with double pole isolation and bi-directional wiring. Its high immunity design also helps reduce nuisance tripping in busy modern installations.
Installer Tip: A 6A B Curve RCBO is typically used on lighting and similar low inrush circuits. Where a circuit has a higher start-up characteristic, a 6A C Curve variant may be the better fit.
Key Features
- 6A B Curve Type A RCBO – overload and residual current protection combined
- High immunity design – helps resist nuisance tripping from transient disturbances
- 30mA sensitivity – suitable for additional protection applications
- 10kA breaking capacity – suitable for domestic and commercial distribution boards
- Double pole switching – disconnects live and neutral conductors
- Bi-directional supply – connection possible from top or bottom
- DIN rail mounting – suits standard consumer units and boards
- Type A protection – detects AC and pulsating DC residual currents

What is the WER06B-030 best used for?
This model is typically suited to lighting circuits and other low inrush final circuits where a 6A B Curve RCBO is the correct protective device.
What does high immunity mean on this RCBO?
It refers to design features intended to reduce nuisance tripping caused by transient electrical disturbances in the installation.
Is this a double pole RCBO?
Yes. The WER range includes switched neutral as standard, so both live and neutral are disconnected.
Can this be used in modern consumer units?
Yes. It is DIN rail mounted, bi-directional, and designed for standard board installation by a qualified electrician.
