The WER63C-030 is a 60A C Curve High Immunity Type A RCBO designed for EV chargers, motors, heat pumps, and commercial inverter-fed systems. It combines overload, short-circuit, and 30mA residual current protection in a single device, with high immunity electronics to resist nuisance tripping from harmonics or transients.
Built with double pole disconnection and bi-directional wiring, this RCBO meets the requirements of the 18th Edition Wiring Regulations (Amendment 2) and is a robust choice for heavy duty residential or commercial installs.
Installer Tip: Use the C Curve for EV chargers, heat pumps, and motor-driven systems where inrush currents are significant. For lighter domestic circuits with low inrush loads, select the B Curve variant.
Key Features
- 63A C Curve Type A RCBO – overload, short-circuit & earth leakage protection
- High immunity design – reduces nuisance tripping
- 30mA sensitivity – regulation compliant
- 10kA breaking capacity – suitable for heavy duty use
- Double pole disconnection – isolates live + neutral conductors
- Bi-directional wiring – reversible line/load connections
- Complies with BS EN 61009 & 18th Edition Amendment 2

When should I specify a 63A C Curve RCBO?
It’s recommended for high-load circuits such as commercial EV chargers, large motors, and heat pumps where sustained current and inrush demand exceed standard 40A protection.
What’s the advantage of high immunity?
It resists nuisance tripping caused by harmonics, switching surges, or transient voltages in inverter-driven systems.
Is this suitable for EV charge points?
Yes – it provides 30mA Type A protection, ideal for EV installations. For PME compliance, add a PME Fault Detection Unit.
Does this isolate live and neutral?
Yes – the RCBO disconnects both conductors for full compliance and safety.
