These Twin RCD metal consumer units are built for domestic and light commercial split-load applications where RCD separation, easy install, and 18th Edition compliance matter. Each board includes a 100A main switch and dual RCDs, with selected models also featuring built-in Type 2 surge protection for added safety on PME or EV installs.
Available from 14 to 22 module sizes, with between 8 and 16 usable ways, these boards are pre-configured and suitable for new installations or upgrades.

What is a Twin RCD board used for?
Twin RCD boards split the load across two RCD-protected banks, providing discrimination and limiting nuisance tripping in domestic and light commercial installs.
What’s the difference between 63A, 80A, and 100A RCDs?
This refers to the RCD’s rated current capacity. Choose based on your expected total load - 100A is commonly used for full-board protection, while 63A or 80A is used when circuits are split.
Do these boards include surge protection?
Only “/SP” models include built-in Type 2 SPD. Surge protection is mandatory in most new builds and recommended for EV or solar installs.
How many usable ways do I need?
Each “usable way” represents space for one circuit breaker. Choose a model based on the number of circuits you’re protecting - leaving space for future additions if needed.
Are these boards compliant with Amendment 2?
Yes - all boards are 18th Edition compliant, and SPD-equipped variants help meet surge protection requirements for most domestic installs.

All boards are pre-fitted with main switch, RCDs, and accessories. Final circuit protection must be installed by a qualified electrician in accordance with BS 7671 and local site needs.
- Mount enclosure securely using rear or side mounting holes
- Use correct knockouts for cable entry – glands recommended
- Ensure SPD earth path (if fitted) is kept as short as possible
- Torque all terminals to manufacturer spec using calibrated tools
