The WMCURC8/6 six usable way consumer unit brings a 63A RCD and six MCBs of your choice together in a steel enclosure with a drop-down lid. It gives installers a supplied board configuration to match their circuit schedule, reducing the need to source the enclosure and each protective device separately.
Choose this board when the installation design calls for six outgoing circuits protected by MCBs behind a shared RCD. The six usable ways refer to the outgoing circuit positions; the fitted RCD is additional to those six positions.
What this configuration gives you
- 63A RCD incomer: residual current protection for the connected circuit group.
- Six selectable MCBs: match each outgoing breaker rating and trip curve to the circuit design.
- Steel enclosure with drop-down lid: the board and devices are supplied together for an organised installation.
- A defined six-circuit layout: useful when matching a small distribution board to an agreed circuit schedule.
The MCBs provide overcurrent protection; the shared RCD provides residual current protection. An RCD trip can disconnect all circuits it supplies. Where continuity of other circuits matters, discuss a board with individual RCBO protection before ordering.

Confirm the RCD type and sensitivity, enclosure dimensions and any additional protection required as part of that specification.
