Built from steel with a drop-down metal lid, this unit meets all relevant UK standards and provides dependable protection against overcurrent and short circuits. Compatible with all WCED RCBOs, and suitable for 18th Edition Amendment 2 installations. Pair with a Type 2 SPD for full compliance on new circuits.

This is a steel consumer unit with a drop-down metal lid, compliant with UK fire safety requirements. For outdoor use, consider our IP65 EV Connection Unit.
Can I fit RCBOs instead of MCBs?
Yes – the unit is compatible with all WCED Type A RCBOs, giving you overload and earth leakage protection in one device.

This consumer unit must be installed by a qualified electrician in accordance with BS 7671. Select MCB ratings suitable for each circuit load and confirm protection requirements under 18th Edition Amendment 2.
