The WSPD240 is a 2 Pole Type 2 Surge Protection Device designed to protect 230V electrical installations from transient overvoltages caused by power surges and lightning-related surge activity. With a 20kA nominal / 40kA maximum discharge rating, it is suited to board-level surge protection where a compact standalone SPD is required.
This 40kA SPD can be used in suitable consumer units, EV-ready boards, heat pump setups and distribution circuits where Type 2 surge protection is specified. Its 2-pole DIN rail format gives installers a practical single-phase surge protection device for 230V applications.
