The WAR280-030 is a 2 pole, 80A Type A RCD with high immunity, providing robust residual current protection for single-phase circuits with higher load demands. Compliant with BS EN 61008-1 and BS EN 61008-2-1, it’s built for consumer units, EV charge points, and commercial applications where nuisance tripping must be minimised.
High immunity RCDs are engineered to ignore transient disturbances and harmonics that cause false trips in standard devices, while still disconnecting safely under genuine fault conditions. At 80A rated current, this model offers extra capacity compared to the 63A version, making it suitable for heavier domestic and small commercial installs.
Installer Tip: Step up to the 80A 2-pole model where single-phase circuits exceed 63A demand, or where EV chargers and equipment with high inrush currents are installed.
