The WMPV-2S2 is an IP65 metal solar string combiner box designed for dual-string solar PV systems operating up to 1000V DC. It provides safe string termination, integrated DC isolation, and surge protection in one robust, factory-configured enclosure.
Supplied complete with a DC rotary isolator and Type 2 DC surge protection device (SPD), this unit protects inverter electronics from transient overvoltage while allowing safe local disconnection during maintenance. The metal enclosure offers enhanced mechanical strength, making it well suited to commercial sites, plant rooms, and exposed installations.
Installer Tip: Choose the 2-string configuration where separate MPPT inputs are used, or where parallel string management is required for larger domestic or light commercial PV systems.
