The WARB5100C/PMESP is a 3 Phase PME Fault Detection Unit with integrated Type 2 surge protection. It combines a 100A MCB main switch, PME relay, and SPD to deliver full PEN-loss protection plus transient surge suppression. Ideal for EV charging hubs, solar PV systems, and commercial 3-phase sites, it ensures safe, regulation-compliant installs without the need for an earth rod.
The PME relay continuously monitors supply voltages across all three phases (400V / 415V). If undervoltage is detected (below 207V), the unit disconnects automatically and resets once stable. If overvoltage is detected (above 253V), the unit isolates and requires a manual reset via the red button. Surge protection status is indicated via a clear visual display (Green = OK, Red = Replace).
Installer Tip: Always consider surge protection where sensitive electronics or EV chargers are present. This variant saves space by combining PME monitoring with a factory-fitted SPD.

This PME fault detection unit with SPD is supplied pre-wired, labelled, and ready for connection, but must only be installed by a qualified electrician. All work should comply with the IET Wiring Regulations (BS7671:2018+A2:2022).
