The WMTP series is a range of 3-phase PME fault detection distribution boards, designed to protect multiple EV charge points without requiring an earth rod. Each unit features built-in PME fault detection, Type 2 surge protection, and pre-fitted 40A RCBOs - providing full disconnection of all phases and earth in the event of a PEN fault.
Available in 2, 3, or 6 output variants, these boards are ideal for EV charging hubs, forecourts, commercial installs, or high-demand residential applications where full regulation compliance and user protection are critical.

Do I still need an earth rod with this unit?
No – the built-in PME fault detection system replaces the need for an earth rod in most EV installations. It isolates all phases and earth on fault detection.
What’s the difference between the variants?
WMTP28-R40CSP includes 2 x 40A 4P RCBOs. WMTP36-R40CSP includes 3 x 40A 4P RCBOs. WMTP28-WER40CSP is pre-fitted with 6 x single-phase RCBOs for multiple 1P EV chargers.
How does the fault detection work?
The PME relay monitors line voltages and disconnects the supply and earth if voltage drops below or exceeds defined thresholds — preventing dangerous rise of touch voltage in the event of a PEN fault.
