The WME10/SP/HPM 10 Way Heat Pump Consumer Unit is an expandable heat pump board designed for installers who need spare capacity for future circuits. It is built into a compact metal enclosure and provides heat pump protection while leaving 4 spare usable ways for additional circuits such as EV charging, solar PV or battery storage.
Supplied factory-assembled with a 100A main switch, Type 2 SPD and Type B HP RCD, this unit is designed for inverter-driven heat pump installations where smooth DC and high-frequency residual currents may be present.
Installer note: Ideal for properties where a heat pump is being installed now, with plans to add EV charging or solar at a later date.

Designed for Future Expansion
The WME10/SPH is suited to domestic heat pump installations where additional low-carbon technologies may be added later. The spare usable ways allow installers to integrate EV chargers, solar PV, or battery storage without replacing the consumer unit.
If only a single heat pump circuit is required with no future expansion planned, a dedicated heat pump board may be sufficient. For larger properties or higher expansion requirements, larger expandable boards are available.
