The WRDUSP440C is a ready-to-fit 3-Phase Surge Protection Device (SPD) Unit supplied in an 8-way IP40 steel enclosure. It includes a 4-pole Type 2 SPD (20kA/40kA) paired with a 40A High Immunity RCD, delivering both surge suppression and earth leakage protection in one pre-wired board. Built to BS 7671:2018 Amendment 2, it’s ideal where both transient voltage protection and 30mA earth fault detection are required.

When should I choose the RCD variant?

What’s the difference between RCD and RCBO variants?

The RCD provides earth leakage protection only. The RCBO version combines overcurrent and leakage protection in one device.

Does this unit include overcurrent protection?

No – this variant provides surge suppression and RCD protection. For overcurrent coverage, pair with upstream MCBs or choose the MCB version.

Is it compliant with the 18th Edition regs?
