The WKC225C is a 25 A 2 Pole 10 kA Miniature Circuit Breaker (MCB) designed to handle moderate inrush currents on small-power and control circuits. Its C-curve tripping characteristic makes it ideal for industrial control gear, air compressors, electric heaters, and commercial lighting panels.

With 2-pole isolation, both live conductors are disconnected simultaneously for improved safety and compliance with BS EN 60898-1. The compact 36 mm design fits standard 35 mm DIN rails in consumer units, enclosures, or distribution boards.

Installer Tip: The 25 A C-curve breaker is a go-to for motors and resistive loads with mild surge current. Use the B-curve for purely resistive loads, or a D-curve for heavy startup currents such as large pumps.

    Key Features

    • 25 A rated – suitable for compressors, heaters, and control panels
    • 10 kA breaking capacity – handles high fault levels safely
    • 2-pole isolation – disconnects both live conductors together
    • C-curve tripping – manages moderate inrush loads
    • Bi-directional terminals – line or load feed from either side
    • 36 mm width – compact DIN-rail fit for all board types
    • Compliant with IEC/EN 60898-1 and the 18th Edition Wiring Regulations

    When should a 25 A C-curve MCB be used?

Ideal for control or power circuits where loads produce a moderate startup surge, such as heaters, compressors, and small motors.

    Does it disconnect both conductors?

Yes – 2-pole isolation ensures both live conductors are disconnected simultaneously for safe maintenance.

Is this compliant with BS EN 60898-1?

Yes – fully certified to BS EN 60898-1 and compliant with the 18th Edition Wiring Regulations.

Can I use this in an industrial board?

Yes – designed for both domestic and commercial distribution systems, including three-phase control panels.
