The WPEVCU40CSP is an IP65 EV connection unit equipped with a 40A C Curve MCB, 100A isolator, and integrated Type 2 Surge Protection Device (SPD). It provides overload protection, surge defence, and full isolation in one compact weatherproof enclosure, ensuring compliance with BS 7671:2018 (Amendment 2).

Designed for EV charger installs and solar PV circuits, the 40A C curve MCB is suited to chargers and equipment with higher inrush currents. This makes it a reliable choice for light commercial or high-output domestic charging points.

Installer Tip: Choose the 40A C Curve variant when fitting larger domestic or light commercial chargers with higher start-up currents. The C curve helps prevent nuisance tripping during inrush events.
