The WAC2P40 is a heavy-duty 2 Pole 40 A modular contactor designed for EV charging, heat pumps, HVAC circuits, and lighting control systems requiring quiet, dependable operation. Compact and DIN-rail mountable, it fits cleanly into consumer units and distribution boards.
Offering long mechanical life and noise-free performance, this contactor is rated for both AC-7a (resistive) and AC-1 (inductive) loads. Fully tested to BS EN 61095 and BS EN 60947-4-1, it meets the demands of modern installations under the 18th Edition Wiring Regulations (BS 7671).
Installer Tip: Choose the 40 A model for high-load single-phase circuits or paired EV chargers. Ensure adequate clearance for heat dissipation and combine with a suitable RCBO or RCD for protective disconnection.
