The WRDUSP440C is a ready-to-fit 3-Phase Surge Protection Device (SPD) Unit supplied in an 8-way IP40 steel enclosure. It includes a 4-pole Type 2 SPD (20kA/40kA) paired with a 40A High Immunity RCD, delivering both surge suppression and earth leakage protection in one pre-wired board. Built to BS 7671:2018 Amendment 2, it’s ideal where both transient voltage protection and 30mA earth fault detection are required.
Installer Tip: The 40A RCD variant is the right choice when you need to add earth leakage protection alongside surge suppression, but don’t require combined overcurrent + RCD in a single device (for that, see the RCBO version).

What’s the difference between RCD and RCBO variants?

This unit is built to order and pre-wired in our UK facility. Installation must be carried out by a qualified electrician.
