A spreader box is used to distribute and organise cable terminations in a 3 phase board. It helps reduce overheating by spreading load-bearing conductors apart and improving ventilation.
Is this compatible with non-Whitecliffe boards?
It’s designed for WTPN range boards. It may fit others of similar dimensions, but we recommend checking mechanical compatibility before install.
Do I need a spreader box for every 3 phase board?
Not always – but for high-current installs or where terminations are tight, they offer thermal and organisational benefits that support long-term safety.
