Is this suitable for outdoor EV charger installs?

What does dual-handle tripping mean?
This unique system helps diagnose faults quickly. If only the black handle trips, it’s a short circuit or overload. If both the black and white handles trip, it’s a residual current fault. For standard single-handle options, check our Mini Type A RCBO.
Can this be used for solar PV installations?
Yes – it’s a great fit for protecting solar strings or battery systems where surge and RCBO protection are needed in an outdoor location. For larger solar setups, consider the 5 Module Solar Board with SPD + Meter.
Does this unit cover PEN fault protection?
No – this product provides RCBO + SPD protection only. For full PME compliance, pair it with our PME Fault Detection Unit.

This weatherproof RCBO + Surge unit is surface mountable and suited for external EV charger installs. Designed with pre-installed earth/neutral bars and an internal SPD module, it is quick to connect and ideal for 18th Edition-compliant installs.
