What’s the benefit of a Type A RCBO?
Type A RCBOs detect AC leakage as well as smooth DC leakage up to 6mA, making them compliant for EV chargers and inverter-driven equipment. For standalone devices, see our High Immunity Type A RCBOs.
Is surge protection included?
Yes, a Type 2 SPD is factory-fitted to protect against transient overvoltage and comply with BS 7671 requirements. For three-phase applications, consider our 4 Pole 3-Phase SPD.
