Mount the enclosure using the raised keyholes and ensure all fixings are level and secure. Plan cable entry routes before cutting knockouts to maintain clear segregation of live, neutral, and CPC conductors in line with BS 7671 Regulation 521.10.202. Gland or grommet every entry to maintain IP40 integrity.
- Ensure terminals are correctly tightened to manufacturer torque specs
- Mount only in dry, ventilated indoor locations
- Label each outgoing circuit clearly
- Maintain wiring space for future expansion where possible
- Always test earth continuity and insulation resistance after installation
