The WRT150B-030 is a 50A B Curve Type A RCBO designed for high load domestic and commercial circuits. It combines overcurrent and 30mA residual current protection in a compact single-module device, with switched live and neutral disconnection for full isolation and bi-directional wiring for solar PV, EV, and inverter-fed systems.

With high immunity electronics to minimise nuisance trips, this RCBO ensures compliance with the 18th Edition Wiring Regulations (Amendment 2) and is tested to IEC/EN 61009-1 standards for safety and durability.

Installer Tip: Use the B Curve for heavy-duty circuits where low inrush currents are expected. For EV, motors, or equipment with high inrush demand, select the C Curve version.

    Key Features

When is a 50A RCBO required?

It’s used in heavy-duty circuits requiring 50A overload protection with earth leakage safety, common in commercial installs.

Why choose a Type A RCBO?

Type A RCBOs detect both AC and pulsating DC leakage, making them essential for EV, solar PV, and modern electronics.

Does it fully isolate the circuit?

Yes – the switched live and neutral design ensures full disconnection for compliance and safety.

What is the benefit of high immunity?

It reduces nuisance trips from harmonics and transients in inverter-heavy environments.
