The WER40C/Solus is a 40A C Curve Type A RCBO with integrated Surge Protection, supplied as a pre-assembled Solus Pack. It combines 30mA residual current protection, overload defence, and a built-in Type 2 SPD for full compliance with the 18th Edition Wiring Regulations (Amendment 2), making it ideal for EV charge points, solar PV systems, and inverter-fed circuits.
Engineered with high immunity electronics, the unit resists nuisance tripping caused by harmonics and transient voltages. The 40A C Curve trip profile makes it suitable for EV chargers, motors, and heavy inrush loads.
Installer Tip: Choose the C Curve when installing EV chargers, motors, or heat pumps where inrush currents are higher. For general socket or lighting circuits, use the B Curve alternative.
