The WER40B/Solus is a 40A B Curve Type A RCBO with integrated Surge Protection, supplied as a ready-to-install Solus Pack. It delivers 30mA residual current protection and overload defence, with a built-in Type 2 SPD to ensure compliance with the 18th Edition Wiring Regulations (Amendment 2) for EV chargers, solar PV, and inverter-based systems.
Featuring high immunity electronics, the unit resists nuisance tripping from harmonics and transient voltages. The 40A B Curve profile makes it a strong fit for domestic socket circuits and lighting boards where faster tripping characteristics are required.
Installer Tip: Use the B Curve for standard loads and domestic distribution boards. For EV chargers, motors, and high inrush equipment, the C Curve version is the better option.
