The WKC range of 3 Pole 10kA Miniature Circuit Breakers (MCBs) deliver reliable protection for three-phase circuits in commercial, industrial, EV, and solar applications. Available from 6A to 63A with B, C, and D curve options, these breakers safeguard circuits against short-circuit and overload currents while providing full isolation capability.

Built with a 10kA breaking capacity, these breakers are bi-directional and DIN rail mounted, making them suitable for new installations or retrofits. Whether you’re protecting a small three-phase load or a heavy inrush circuit, the WKC MCB range has the right option to keep your installation safe and compliant.

WKC 3 Pole 10kA MCB Range

    • Wide range: 6A–63A current ratings
    • Curve options: B, C, or D curve depending on load type
    • 10kA breaking capacity: Handles high fault currents safely
    • 3-pole design: Protects three-phase circuits
    • Bi-directional: Can be connected top or bottom
    • Applications: EV chargers, solar PV, motors, HVAC, industrial boards

Select the correct MCB based on load and application. All ratings are available in B, C, and D curves (D on request):

    • 6A: WKC306B / WKC306C / WKC306D
    • 10A: WKC310B / WKC310C / WKC310D
    • 16A: WKC316B / WKC316C / WKC316D
    • 20A: WKC320B / WKC320C / WKC320D
    • 25A: WKC325B / WKC325C / WKC325D
    • 32A: WKC332B / WKC332C / WKC332D
    • 40A: WKC340B / WKC340C / WKC340D
    • 50A: WKC350B / WKC350C / WKC350D
    • 63A: WKC363B / WKC363C / WKC363D

What’s the difference between B, C, and D curve MCBs?

B curve trips quickly (3–5x In) and is best for resistive loads like lighting. C curve trips at 5–10x In and suits inductive loads such as motors or EV chargers. D curve trips at 10–20x In, making it ideal for heavy inrush applications like welders or transformers.

What does 10kA breaking capacity mean?

It’s the maximum fault current the breaker can safely interrupt. 10kA MCBs are suitable for most commercial and industrial boards.

    Are these breakers bi-directional?

Yes — they can be connected top or bottom, giving installers flexibility when wiring.

Can these be used in EV and solar installs?

Yes — the WKC MCB range is widely used for EV charge point circuits, PV distribution, and general three-phase protection.

    Are other ratings available?

Yes — the range covers 6A through 63A. Other custom ratings can be sourced on request.

    • Type: MCB (Miniature Circuit Breaker)
    • Poles: 3P (three-phase)
    • Breaking Capacity: 10kA
    • Current Ratings Available: 6A, 10A, 16A, 20A, 25A, 32A, 40A, 50A, 63A
    • Curves: B, C, D (D available on request)

These breakers are suitable for commercial boards, industrial distribution, EV chargers, and solar installs. Choose curve type carefully:

    • B Curve: General resistive loads (lighting, socket circuits)
    • C Curve: Inductive loads (motors, HVAC, EV chargers, commercial use)
    • D Curve: High inrush loads (transformers, welders, machinery) – available on request

Always confirm breaking capacity is appropriate for the site’s fault level. Installation must be carried out by a qualified electrician in line with BS 7671.
