The GTG3216 is a 32mm grey tails gland designed for neat, secure and compliant entry of meter tails and earth cables into consumer units, meter boxes, and distribution boards. Pre-drilled to accept two 16mm 6181Y tails and one 10mm 6491X green/yellow earth conductor, this gland provides a reliable solution for typical domestic and light commercial installations.
By using a purpose-made tails gland, you prevent cable damage, reduce strain on terminations, and maintain the board’s IP integrity. It is particularly useful when upgrading consumer units to 18th Edition standards, or when a tidy, professional finish is required for meter tails installation.
