The WCED WPF13 is an IP66-rated Weatherproof Switched Fused Spur Unit designed to provide safe, local isolation in outdoor and damp environments. Ideal for powering garden lighting, external sockets, and water features, as well as EV charge points and fixed appliances in bathrooms or outbuildings.
Housed in a tough, UV-stabilised polycarbonate enclosure with gasket seals and removable blanking caps on all four sides, this unit maintains a secure, weatherproof seal even in exposed conditions. It complies with BS1363 and is supplied ready for straightforward installation by electricians.

Is this unit suitable for outdoor use?
Yes. It’s IP66 rated, fully sealed against rain, water jets, and dust. Ideal for external sockets, garden lighting, and outdoor equipment.
What fuse does it come with?
The unit is supplied with a 13A fuse as standard. It can accept 3A, 5A, or 13A cartridges depending on the connected load.
Can I use this in a bathroom?

Does the switch have a neon indicator?
Yes. The double pole switch includes a neon indicator for clear on/off status visibility.
Are cable glands or accessories included?
No. This unit is supplied as-is. Cables, glands, and fixings should be sourced separately. For compatible accessories, see our terminal blocks and enclosure fittings.

This unit should be installed by a qualified electrician in accordance with current IET Wiring Regulations.
- Mount securely on a flat, vertical surface with suitable fixings
- Ensure lid gasket is seated correctly to maintain IP66 seal
- Select appropriate rear or side cable entry using knockout positions
- Maintain safe cable bends and correct fuse sizing for the connected load
- Test switch and neon indicator on completion of installation
