The WPGU04/620 is a factory-assembled IP65 plastic garage consumer unit featuring a 63 A 30 mA Type A RCD incomer and two B Curve MCBs rated at 6 A and 20 A. Designed for powering outbuildings, garages, and workshops, it offers safe and convenient circuit protection in a compact, weatherproof enclosure.
Installer Tip: This configuration is ideal for lighting (6 A) and socket or moderate load circuits (20 A). Use it as a sub-board for garden offices, sheds, or garage tools where an RCD incomer is required for additional protection under BS 7671 Reg 411.3.3.

Is this suitable for outdoor workshops?

Does this include both circuits?
Yes – one 6 A circuit for lighting and one 20 A circuit for socket or power tools are pre-fitted and protected by a 63 A Type A RCD incomer.
What’s the difference between this and the 32 A model?
The 32 A version supports heavier equipment like heaters or EV chargers.
Does it require a separate isolator?
No – the built-in RCD acts as the main incomer and isolation device, satisfying BS 7671 isolation requirements.
Can this be installed directly from the meter?
