The WRB116C-030 High Immunity Type A Mini RCBO is a 16A C Curve device designed to protect circuits with higher inrush currents. At just 18mm wide, it combines residual current and overcurrent protection in one compact module. With 30mA Type A sensitivity and a high-immunity design, it provides stable fault protection for EV chargers, small motors, and commercial tools that can otherwise cause nuisance trips.
Installer Tip: Pick the 16A C Curve when circuits include motors, pumps, or EV chargers with higher start-up currents. For general domestic sockets and lighting, use the 16A B Curve variant.
Key Features
- 16A rated current – suited to small power and equipment circuits
- C Curve tripping – tolerates higher inrush currents
- Type A sensitivity – detects AC + pulsating DC leakage
- High immunity design – reduces false trips from harmonics
- 18mm single-module width – compact for tight boards
- Switched live & neutral – provides full circuit isolation
- Bi-directional – compatible with PV and EV systems

When should I use the 16A C Curve?
Choose C Curve for circuits with higher inrush current, such as EV chargers, pumps, or small motors. For standard sockets and lighting, use the 16A B Curve.
Does this RCBO work with renewables?
Yes. With Type A detection and high immunity, it’s suitable for PV and EV systems.
Is it compact enough for retrofit boards?
Yes – at just 18mm wide, it fits neatly into space-limited consumer units.
Does it fully disconnect neutral?
Yes, the switched neutral design ensures both live and neutral are isolated under fault conditions.
