The WME12/HP40C Heat Pump Consumer Unit is a dedicated 12-way protection board designed for inverter-driven heat pump systems. It comes pre-fitted with a 40A Type B RCD, a 40A Type C MCB, and a 2-pole Type 2 SPD. This ensures full compliance with BS 7671:2018+A2:2022 for surge and RCD requirements in renewable installs.
Installer Tip: Always size boards for future expansion. The 12-way variant gives extra DIN capacity for RCBOs or MCBs without needing a second board.
