What’s the difference between B and C curve options?
B Curve RCBOs trip faster on lower fault currents – typically used for domestic circuits. C Curve is better for higher inrush loads like motors or EV chargers. Choose based on your load profile.
Does this provide full disconnection?
Yes – the RCBO includes switched neutral, ensuring both live and neutral conductors are disconnected during a fault.
Can I use this for EV charger installations?
Yes – the Type A high immunity RCBO is suitable for most domestic EV chargers, and the built-in SPD ensures compliance with 18th Edition surge protection requirements.
Are the RCBO and SPD pre-wired?
Yes – the unit is supplied fully wired for fast installation. Just mount, terminate tails, and earth the SPD as per standard practice.
