Our IP40-rated metal enclosures provide a reliable and versatile housing solution for MCBs, RCBOs, and other DIN rail–mounted protective devices. Built with a robust steel body and finished in white polyester powder coating, these units are designed for indoor use across residential, commercial, and light industrial environments.
Each enclosure includes raised DIN rails for improved cable routing, neutral and earth terminal bars, and multiple knockout entry points (25mm & 32mm on top and bottom, 40mm on the sides and back, plus larger rear slots). Raised keyholes allow for secure, easy installation.
Available in a wide range of sizes from 4-way to 22-way, these enclosures can be configured for small circuits or large distribution setups. Every unit is supplied empty, ready for use with your choice of MCBs or RCBOs.
Are these enclosures supplied pre-populated?
No – all units are supplied empty, ready for fitting with your choice of MCBs or RCBOs.
What does IP40 mean?
IP40 means the enclosure is protected against solid objects greater than 1mm (such as tools and small wires) but is not rated for water protection. They are suitable for indoor use only.
Do they come with busbars?
No – busbars must be purchased separately, depending on your configuration and choice of protective devices.
What is the difference between each size?
The number of ‘ways’ refers to how many outgoing circuits the enclosure can accommodate, with physical dimensions increasing as the way count increases.
Can they be used in commercial installations?
Yes – provided the installation requirements are suitable for IP40 indoor-rated enclosures, they can be used in both residential and commercial settings.
